STUCC ON STEEL versus Cement Block or Reinforced Concrete Construction:
The following Project Cost Evaluations compares the STUCC ON STEEL Building System against the traditional building materials stated above. It isolates the costs for only the STUCC ON STEEL structure and does not include other materials not related to the structure (like windows, doors, concrete slab, foundation, roofing finish, etc). This allows you to compare your costs to build the structure in the traditional manner to our system without other materials confusing the evaluation.
PROJECT COST EVALUATION
Production Volume: (50-100) Units per Month
House Size (Area): 504.6 SQ. FT. / 46.9 M2
The following cost evaluation has been estimated using a 2-Bedroom 504.6 SF / 46.9 M2 (building area). The structure is comprised of (15) Wall and (4) Roof Panels. Panels integrate into a turned-down concrete and slab foundation (slab-on-grade). STUCC ON STEEL's Roof System is designed for galvanized or painted metal in non-snow region (other options available). No cement block or timber is required.

Design developed by STUCC ON STEEL (SOS), Copyright protected & Patent(s) Pending:
The STUCC ON STEEL Building System includes:
1. Light Gauge Galvanized Steel Framing (Panelized) Components
2. Admixtures for High-Strength Stucco Finishes
3. Thermal Foil Barrier (Walls & Roof)
4. Additional Building Materials (as noted)
Light Gauge Steel Panels: Light gauge (20 Gauge/.88mm) galvanized steel is manufactured into precisely made components pre-engineered into Exterior Load-Bearing Wall Panels, Interior Load & Non-Load Bearing Wall Panels, Roof Panels and Components, as required per design. All framing members are specified at 24” on center. Hollow cavity between studs allows for additional insulation for colder climates and installation of utilities (plumbing and electrical) through pre-punched openings.
Admixtures for High-Strength Stucco Finishes Proprietary Admixtures to create STUCC ON STEEL Structural Coatings, on-site, as specified below:
• Exterior/Interior Structural Coating ~ 2,781 S.F. of wall area.
• Approximately 5% of Additional STUCC ON STEEL Structural Admixture Coatings for each application will be included to cover application waste.
• Finish Color Coat (Painting) will be required & is not included
• Note: Builder to provide construction grade water as required.
Thermal Foil Barrier (Walls & Roof)The aluminum foil-faced thermal reflective barrier is installed on all exterior components in regions with high temperatures. The TFB isolates the Stucco Finishes on the exterior walls so there is no thermal transfer (heat) into the structure, which allows the interior to remain much cooler.
• Exterior Walls ~ 1,005 Sq. Ft.
• Roof ~ 690 Sq. Ft.
Additional Building Materials: STUCC ON STEEL includes all the materials required to fabricate the components (i.e., fasteners/screws) stated above as well as the components required to finish the Structural Stucco Finishes (i.e., Casing Bead, Corner Bead, Expansion Joint, etc.). This includes Cement and Sand as quantified under the Material Assumptions below. Tools are not included but are available.
Component costs using the Stucc On Steel Building System will vary from region to region and country to country because the raw materials used (Light Gauge Galvanized Steel, Cement and Building Sand) and labor required in the manufacturing and construction process will also vary.
Material & Labor Assumptions:
Steel: (20)Ga./.0346in./.88mm BMT, 33-50 ksi, G90/Z-275 Galvanization
• $889 per MT
Cement: Portland Type I
• $130 per MT
(1.58 MT required)
Sand: Mortar Type, Washed
• $25 per M3
(4.92 M3 required)
Labor: Skilled labor trained
•$2.00 per man-hour
Pricing is determined by volume, therefore larger housing projects can demand lower costs of raw materials listed above.
Building System Cost Summary: The STUCC ON STEEL Building System and related component are estimated using the material and labor cost above and per design. Costs do not include general overheads and administrative costs that would normally be incurred under operations. For example, managment salaries, building rent, electricity, etc. Contact STUCC ON STEEL for more information.
STUCC ON STEEL Building Package: $2,268.09
STUCC ON STEEL Admixtures: $ 423.80
Thermal Reflective Barrier: $ 417.12
Additional Building Materials
• Portland Cement $205.40
• Sand $123.00
Manufacturing Labor: $48.57
STUCC ON STEEL User (Licensing) Fee: $549.18
TOTAL: $4,034.92
COST Per Square Feet: $4,034.92 / 504.6 SF = $8.00 SF
COST Per Meter Squared: $4,034.92 / 46.9 M2 = $86.03 M2
